A Ryanair flight was forced to make an emergency landing in London after a passenger was confirmed dead on board.
The Mirror writes that the flight from Tirana to Manchester Airport was forced to divert shortly before 20:00 on Sunday, having already flown over Switzerland and France.
Emergency crews arrived at the plane after landing, but although they gave first aid to the passenger, they were unable to save him. The age and nationality of the passenger are still unknown.
London Stansted confirmed that as soon as the plane landed, doctors and the fire service arrived in time, as soon as the alarm was raised that a person had developed health problems. But even after medical assistance, the passenger did not make it. According to foreign media, the victim was accompanied by some of his friends, while it is suspected that he suffered a heart attack.
The event caused moments of panic on the plane and among the other passengers, who stated that they tried to give him help and keep him alive, while describing the situation as shocking.
