The former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Sabit Geci, denies that he has changed his name and religion.
"This is greedy. These are cannibals," he told Express Newspaper. "I have absolutely no need to change my religion because I am not religious at all," said Geci.
On November 28, Geci said he visited the church in Llapushnik i Drenas and a mosque in Podujevo, whose imam he said he is a friend of.
"I am not religious at all, not at all, not at all. I hate them even with beards, I really hate them. When he came out, he called the flag a rag, when the other came out, they told me to take the chika or the aunt for a wife, it's not haram, this is terrible, brother", he said.
The former member of the General Staff of the KLA admitted that he would like to have an Albanian name and that he has told this to those present in the church, but he said that there is no reason to change his name now.
"No brother, I won't even change my name, because I'm not religious at all. I don't need to change my religion when I'm not religious. I will not change the name given to me by the world, because I have the name that my father and mother left me", he said.
Geci said that he has contacted "the one who posted" the post that he has converted to Catholicism and changed his name.
"I called the one who shot him. He said no, I didn't shoot it, someone else did. Come on, that's not the case... I have absolutely no need to change my religion because I'm not religious at all", he emphasized.
"I left a bequest that no Arabic word does, they told me at the grave, when I go to the grave. If you come and bury me, bury me in Albanian," added the former commander.
The page "St. Mihill Parish in Doblibare, Gjakova" posted a photo on Facebook along with an announcement about the "baptism of former KLA Commander Sabit Geci", who was said to have been baptized with the name Kastriot.
Telegrafi also tried again to contact the priest of the Parish "Saint Michael", but he did not answer. /Telegraph/
