The elderly Italian leaves his wealth to the Albanian woman who took care of him, but the son who abandoned him steals all his money

A well-known Italian journalist in Treviso has ended up in court after being accused of embezzling money.

According to what "Treviso Today" writes, the 64-year-old received about 322 thousand euros and 2 mobile phones from the house of his now deceased father, money that was not intended for him.

It was his father, the one who had left that money in his will to an Albanian guardian, who had taken care of him, had become his daughter.

The story started on December 22, 2021, the day when the 80-year-old man, who was rich and had been living alone for years, was found without signs of life.

He had been separated from his wife for a long time, and the divorce seems to have been the reason for the disagreements between him and the son, who did not want to have any more contact with his father.

Due to several illnesses, the 80-year-old found help from an Albanian caregiver, a resident of Spresiano, who soon became a member of the family and not only took care of his needs, but they formed a family friendship as the old man knew her children and husband, who often spent time together.

On the morning of December 22, three years ago, the Albanian's daughter, who had stayed at the 80-year-old's house, found his lifeless body.

Shocked, she called her mother, where the latter decided to inform her son as well. But, when the journalist arrived at his father's house, according to what has emerged from the investigation, it turns out that he was not at all interested in him, but started looking in the drawers of the house to find the key that opened the door to his study that was locked.

After he managed to open the room, he filled his hands with everything he found and it is about 320 thousand euros that his father kept at home.

"You can't do that. That money belongs to me, there is a will for this", the Albanian woman told the journalist, and at this moment she decided to call the police, who, after counting the money, left the money to his son, since he was the closest person to him. .

But, on February 8, 2022, the will was opened and it was revealed that the Albanian woman had been right and all the assets of the 80-year-old had passed to her, except for an inheritance he had left to another person.

The boy was left with nothing and the Albanian turned to a lawyer and filed a lawsuit against the journalist, but there is no trace of the 320 euros, an amount confirmed by the carabinieri report.

The journalist claims that he found 70 euros, but the prosecution does not believe him and sent him to court.tvclan/
