The official presentation of Realme GT5 will take place on August 28

Realme will launch the GT5 on August 28, the brand announced on its Weibo page.

The new flagship series will be in celebration of the company's five-year anniversary, but this date we will likely only see the base GT5, with the Pro variant expected to be introduced later this year.

At next Monday's event we will also see the new headphones - Realme Buds Air 5, a variant with a more affordable price compared to the Buds Air 5 Pro, reports GSM Arena, the Telegraph reports.

What is known for sure is that the Realme GT5 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip integrated.

What still remains a rumor are the cameras and the look – the teaser suggests a prominent camera setup – similar to the upcoming GT Neo6 – which is a design we've already seen on the OnePlus 10 and, to some extent, , on the Galaxy S21 Series.

The Realme Buds Air 5 headphones will have 50 decibel active noise cancellation, a feature that was previously exclusive to the Pro variant.

The poster also talks about 4,000Hz UW noise reduction – this frequency is in the right range of human hearing, meaning the new Buds will apparently only isolate voices from ambient sound. /Telegraph/
