Military plane crashes in Mexico - 14 people lost their lives

The crash of a Black Hawk military helicopter in Sinaloa state, northern Mexico, killed 14 and injured one person.

The cause of the accident is being investigated, but so far there is no information to suggest that the incident is related to the arrest of drug lord Rafael Cara Quintero on the other side of Sinaloa.

We recall that Rafael Caro Quintero was arrested in the state of Chihuahua, in the north, Mexican newspapers add, reports cbsnews.

Rafael Caro Quintero (69) was on the list of ten fugitives wanted by the FBI for the kidnapping, torture and murder of US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) special agent Enrique Kiki Camarena in Mexico in 1985.

The US Department of Justice offered a $20 million reward for information leading to his arrest, the largest reward offered to a single fugitive.
