An article in the magazine 'New Scientist' shows that in Albania a large deposit of hydrogen has been discovered in the depth of the chromium mine in Bulqiza. Natural gas can be used as a clean fuel.
Based on the geometry of the fault, geologists estimate that this reservoir contains at least 5,000 to 50,000 tons of hydrogen, and professors have come to the conclusion that the extraction of the gas could last from 25 to 238 years.
Bardhyl Muceku, lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Tirana and part of the study, said on the GoodMorning Albanians show on Euronews Albania that it is the first time in the world that such a large hydrogen source has been discovered.
But this, according to him, does not mean that Bulqiza's hydrogen can replace the oil or gas we use today. /Telegraph/
