Ivis Montoja discovered that her seven-month-old daughter is alive, while the funeral ceremony was being prepared for the little girl.

While staying in a church in San Pedro Sula in Honduras, she noticed that the child was breathing, although the hospital doctors had told her that he was dead, reports the Telegraph.

The child was admitted to the hospital with convulsions, diarrhea, dehydration and red skin, as a result of a bacterial infection. Although he was treated in the intensive care unit, the doctors declared him dead after three days and issued a certificate for this.

"I didn't have money to buy a coffin, so I put it on a chair while I was lighting the candles", said Montoja, about the preparations for the funeral ceremony.

Upon realizing that the child was breathing, he quickly sent him to a nearby clinic, where first aid was provided. It is reported that the child's condition is serious, while the details are not known.

State officials requested detailed investigations to reveal the causes of the scandal that shocked everyone. /Telegraph/
