The highway in California is "sweetened", the truck carrying 20 thousand kilograms of chocolate burns

A highway in California was left "sweetened and sticky" after a truck caught fire and was covered in more than 20 kilograms of melted chocolate.

California police announced that firefighters went to the scene to locate the fire, and learned that the truck was transporting chocolate, Telegraph reports.

From the big fire, all the chocolate has melted and covered a part of the road, which also became "sticky" for the tires of many passing cars.

To avoid this mess, cleanup crews needed several hours to clear the area where the truck burned.

According to initial investigations, the cause of the fire was a mechanical fault in the truck's brakes, while the driver managed to escape the worst. /Telegraph/
