Today, Sunday (January 11, 2026), local by-elections were held in the Municipality of Gostivar, where two candidates competed, Valbon Limani from AKI and Nevzat Bejta from the VLEN Coalition, reports Telegrafi Makedonija.
The State Electoral Commission (SEC) has published the first results from voting day today in this municipality.
According to the SEC, with 21,49% of votes counted, these are the published results.
1. Nevzat Bejta - VALID - 1172 votes or 24,74% of voters
3. Valbon Limani - AKI - 2581 votes or 54,49% of voters
According to the SEC, voter turnout in this municipality was 28,22% by 18:30 p.m. According to the law on local elections, there is no re-voting in Gostivar since a census is not required, as in previous elections. /Telegraph/
