The first adventure outside Switzerland, the warm welcome in Bulgaria and the next step in a stronger league - Dakaj tells about the adventure in Cherno More

Arlind Dakaj has started a new adventure in his career and that outside Switzerland where he grew up and debuted in professional football.
After having passed all categories at Zurich and then at the first team of Winterthur, Dakaj decided to move to Bulgaria where he received an offer from the Cherno More team.
The 21-year-old joined the Bulgarian team in the January transfer window, while he is gradually taking the place of the starter in the blue and white team.
In an interview for Telegrafin, the central midfielder talks about the Bulgarian adventure, the welcome he received at the club and his goals.
"The welcome I received was fantastic, both from the coach, the players and the club leaders. The club is very professional and everything is perfect in this beginning", said Dakaj for the Telegraph.
"The conditions are very good both for work and for the contract and I am very satisfied."
He did not think that one day he would play in Bulgarian football, as he did not even know about the championship in question.
"It never occurred to me that one day I would play in Bulgaria. I have never followed the championship and I have only known the clubs that have usually played in European competitions".
"However, I was pleasantly surprised, as it is a very strong championship where all the clubs are well organized and the competition is very big", continues Dakaj.
Dakaj has played in six matches so far, five in the championship and another in the Bulgarian Cup.
"To be honest, I haven't played as much as I expected, but I'm gradually gaining confidence. In two matches where I started, we won and this is important to give a signal to the coach, who told me that he has faith in me and is gradually making me part of the lineup", said Dakaj.
"Anyway, the situation is better than when I was in Winterthur in the last few months and I'm waiting for the opportunity to play even more, since in those matches where I played, everyone was satisfied with my performance."
His personal objectives are to play as much as possible, while the club aims to reach the European arena and win the Bulgarian Cup, where they are in the semi-finals.
"I hope to play as much as possible as this is my personal objective and not to have any injuries. Meanwhile, as for the club, we are well on our way to occupy one of the three or four positions in the championship, but we also want to win the Bulgarian Cup, where we are in the semi-finals", continues Dakaj.
The former member of Winterthur and Zurich says he sees the Bulgarian championship as a springboard for his future.
"The club has made it clear to me that they want to sell me in the future as I am young and they intend to profit from my departure. On the other hand, my goal is to leave one day for a bigger championship", said the Kosovar midfielder.

Arlindi was born and raised in Switzerland, but his big dream is to one day wear the jersey of Kosovo.
"Of course, every footballer's dream is to represent his country. I am young and I will work hard to one day wear the jersey of Kosovo to make this dream a reality", said Dakaj. /Telegraph/
