The fan who shot Payet in the head with a bottle - is slapped by another fan
Shocking images have begun to emerge from the derby that was finally interrupted between Lyon and Marseille.
A fan has hit the visiting team's player, Dimtri Payet, on the head with a bottle, causing non-serious injuries.
The referee ordered the players back to the dressing room in the 7th minute after Payet was hit in the head with a water bottle while trying to bring the ball back into play from a corner.
But this reckless act cost him a slap in the mouth in the stands. Another Lyon fan is seen berating him before slapping him.
Lyon - Marseille is one of the most passionate derbies in French football and the rivalry between these two clubs was also witnessed by the fans in the stands.
Marseille has only two wins in the last five games and is ranked fifth with 23 points, 14 less than PSG and four more than Lyon.
