The extremist French MP insults the KLA war from the Ibri bridge - harsh reactions are coming, it is requested to declare non-grata

French far-right politician Nicolas Bay, who is also a member of the European Parliament, has insulted the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army through several videos.
Bay, through a video recording published on Twitter, from the Ibri bridge in the city of Mitrovica, calls the KLA terrorists.
"Here at the Mitrovica bridge, Christian Serbs defended their territory from the attacks of Albanian KLA terrorists. They were the shield of our European civilization," he wrote on Twitter.
Bay, during the meeting with the cleric Sava Janić in the Monastery of Deçan, said that the presence of Serbian monks there is more than eight centuries.
After his statements, there have been many reactions from politicians, security experts and civil society representatives.
The expert on security issues, Agim Musliu, said that "the extreme right of France and these guys who have visited Kosovo, are the ones who supported not only the 'Hitler of the Balkans', Slobodan Milosevic, but they want to create him as well another one like that.
"These are the amplifiers of Vladimir Putin and his supporters and those of any other anti-American and anti-Islamic leader," Musliu wrote, Telegraph reports.
He further said that "these are the ones who have left Kosovo without visas, Albania and North Macedonia have cut off their European path".
"These are the ones who throw gasoline in Orthodox churches in Kosovo and, hiding their hand, even some matches. These are the ones who are trying to destroy NATO and the European Union. These are the ones who should see the land of the Republic of Kosovo only on the map, and in no way come here and trample and desecrate it", said Musliu.
The former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Petrit Selimi, said that Bayi's statement is racist of the type of Vladimir Putin and Slobodan Milosevic.
"What an absurd statement, a lie and a racist attitude. Surely Prizren is European, but you Nicolas are certainly not. You belong to the Putinist, Milosevician world of darkness and death. Go and ask for forgiveness at the Cathedral of Saint Mother Teresa, the Albanian saint," Selim's reaction reads, KP reports.
According to former ambassador Edon Cana, this politician should be declared non-grata by the Government of Kosovo, after such statements.
"The Deçan Monastery with Sava Janjić is an inseparable symbiosis of the European far right. This is shameful and must be immediately condemned by our government. Moreover, why is this person not already on the persona non grata list? Expulsion and public condemnation must happen now," Cana writes.
French far-right MP Nicolas Bay has been banned by the European Parliament from official election monitoring trips after he took part in several missions to Russia in the run-up to Russian military aggression in Ukraine.
This ban will last until the end of his term, i.e. until 2024. /Telegrafi/
