The dialogue between the difficult past and the uncertain future

The past has increased the tensions between Kosovo and Serbia in the dialogue.

The Republic of Kosovo demands an account from Serbia for the crimes it has committed in the last war of 1999, but the Serbian side constantly refuses to talk about this issue.

Despite this, on Monday in Brussels, Prime Minister Albin Kurti presented the parties with three books where the Serbian crimes in Kosovo are proven.

The confessions of women raped in Kosovo during the war, the list of 1333 children killed during the war and the book by the author Bejtullah Destani "Muhaxhirët - dosja britani" which talks about the expulsion of Albanians from Sanxhak i Nis.

In the book of the researcher Bejtullah Destani, among others, there are also documents from the British archive, which talk about the deportation of Albanians who became Serbs during the years 1878-1884.

In a published letter, the English envoy of that time in Belgrade wrote to the British Lord about the deportation and murders that Serbia was doing to the Albanians.

This book irritated Aleksandër Vučić.

"People in the European Union do not believe what they are hearing. A man [Albin Kurti] has returned to the 19th century. I am worried. I don't know how to act," Vuçiqi declared to reporters.

While Vuçiqi had refused to receive those books, according to Kurti, the Representative of the European Union, Joseph Borrell, had accepted them./Telegraph/
