Debate on election programs, analysts talk about the second day of the campaign

With the beginning of the election campaign in Kosovo, the political parties have presented their programs, which are inciting fierce debates among analysts and political representatives.

On the second day of the campaign, the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) faced criticism for its approach to the election campaign.

Analyst Astrit Gashi described the LVV campaign as dull and without new ideas, stressing that it has been using the same political rhetoric for years.

"There is no new pulse in the LVV campaign. Their slogans are recycled and the lack of concretization of promises makes this campaign ineffective for the electorate", said Gashi in "Debat Plus.

The analyst complimented AAK as according to him they had the main rally today.

"AAK had a very good main rally, and we can declare it the winner today, perhaps because it had a well-organized rally. But PDK also had a very good rally in Ferizaj or LDK in Kaçanik," declared Gashi.

Analyst Bekim Kabashi added that the LVV is trying to mask the failures of its governing period with empty slogans and unstable rhetoric.

"The LVV has not presented a clear governing program and is demanding 500 votes without providing concrete reasons for this request," Kabashi declared.

Kabashi says that today the opposition won the "race" with electoral rallies.

"LVV had average gatherings like other parties. LVV had a different spirit in other gatherings".

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has presented its election program, with a focus on reforming the justice system.

Analyst Ylli Hoxha described this as a serious and structured product, emphasizing that it is a rare approach in the country's political scene.

According to Hoxha, the program is quite ambitious, envisaging intervention in the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPK) and the judicial system, as well as a pronounced vetting process for judges and prosecutors.

"The LDK program is to be applauded because it presents something serious and concrete, which has rarely been seen on the political scene. He addresses critical issues in justice and has serious commitment," declared Hoxha.

However, Hoxha said that this program is a little aggressive.

Meanwhile, lawyer Tomë Gashi criticized the LDK program, calling it a "copy" of the efforts of the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) during its four-year government.

According to Gashi, despite this, the program contains important elements and is a positive step towards reform.

Analyst Sadri Ramabaja has stated that even the world's most eminent professors confirm that the issue of sovereignty in the north is undeniable that it has returned from Kurti.

"Don't be ridiculous to deny that sovereignty has returned to the north", Ramabaja declared.

Clash between political leaders

During a rally in Mitrovica, Prime Minister Albin Kurti called the opposition leaders "villains" and "scum who have sold Kosovo."

These statements were criticized by the analyst Lirim Mehmetaj, who called them hypocritical and dishonest.

"Kurti claims to be the patron of moral values, but these attitudes are sick and hypocritical," said Mehmetaj.

The analyst says that it is significant that a party manages to fill a hall.

"For example, AAK filled the same hall as PDK, the biggest hall in Kosovo. LVV failed to fill the hall", he declared.

However, Mehmetaj added that this is not an indication of the election results.

The parties' election programs are opening up intense discussions about their approaches to key issues, especially justice and governance. /Telegrafi/
