The maintenance team of the Regional Directorate of Cultural Heritage (DRTK) in Korçë stayed for several days in the village of Tudas, where it carried out the emergency restoration intervention on the roof of the church of Saint Triadha.
The Church of the Muzakas, positioned on the northern side, at the foot of the "Tudas" rock, with historical and architectural values, marks the highest mountain peak of the execution of the Byzantine typology built by Kirana Muzaka in 1470.
The roof has long been problematic and the penetration of moisture into the interior of the church.
In this phase of the intervention, the entire roof surface has been restored and completed with stone slabs, according to the traditional typology of the church.
DRTK Korçë has expressed its gratitude to the community of the area, which cooperated and welcomed the DRTKK specialists. /Telegraph/
