Ana Uskova, 40, a lawyer from St. Petersburg, Russia, tragically lost her life when she jumped into an open hole in the frozen lake in front of her children, from which she did not manage to get out alive.

The aforementioned tragedy happened on Friday in Lake Odrez in the south of St. Petersburg, when Ana performed religious rites before the dance and ended up in the pit, and the large currents of the lake seem to have taken her away, Telegrafi reports.

In the video published below, Ana is seen wearing a black bathing suit - performing religious rites before jumping into the lake.

Her 10-year-old son and 14-year-old daughter saw her last moments before their mother disappeared under the ice. Her two children screamed, until the water currents pulled their mother under the thick layer of ice that had formed on the lake.

As reported by the Russian media, the temperatures at those moments were minus 5 degrees, when Ana also ended up in the lake, and search and rescue teams are still looking for her. /Telegraph/
