The Book Fair in Prizren re-displays the power of thought within literary creations

The 16th edition of the Book Fair in Prizren opened on Wednesday night in the center of the city with numerous publications from Kosovo and the countries of the region, but also with the presentation of the literary creativity of two writers, Adil Olluri from Prishtina and Roland Spahiut from Prizren.
The head of the Literary Program of the Book Fair in Prizren, Ditar Kabashi, at the opening of this edition, reiterated the open invitation to all citizens to visit the Fair and honor the guest authors with their presence during the literary evenings.
"The Book Fair brought to Prizren residents and visitors to our city publishing houses not only from Kosovo but also from the countries of the region. The Book Fair brought literature from various fields of writing to Prizren residents and visitors to the city. The Book Fair brought prominent authors of literary and scholarly works from Kosovo and the countries of the region to Prizren residents and visitors to the city. All these Book Fair brought to the center of Prizren, where citizens usually gravitate. So the Fair is organized only in the interest of the public", said Kabashi.
The Director of Culture in the Municipality of Prizren, Adem Morina has emphasized that this organization enriches the cultural life in Prizren and that for this reason I will enjoy the support of this department, reports Telegrafi.
In the first part of the evening, the literary creativity of the writer Adil Olluri was presented, who, among other things, emphasized to the audience that his works are focused on the thinking part, and asking questions, since this is also the strength of the authors.
"My nature is to make it more conceptual, more thought-provoking than just being narrative. Narrative is definitely an indisputable part of an artistic realization, the art of beautiful writing, but in itself without the thinking part, without the stylistic part, it is not enough. It would only be a skeleton of the work", said Olluri.
While the second part of the literary evening is devoted to the promotion of the novel "A film scene" by the author Roland Spahiu.
The publicist and journalist, Fahri Musliu, has assessed that this novel is characterized by the deep and philosophical thoughts of the author, which lead to asking the question "where are we and what is happening to us?".
"It is a fantastic novel with socio-political, socio-psychological, economic, cultural, educational content, which elaborates with rare skill and with different philosophical, sarcastic, allegorical, ironic and critical social, economic, political and comprehensive reality in Kosovo. So, from a young man, with a sharp mind and a bright perspective, who in the future will also be a boast for the city of Prizren", said Musliu.
The former special prosecutor, Drita Hajdari, has emphasized that Spahiu's novel should be read analytically.
"I experienced this book as something we all need to face our reality. There is a bit of pessimism in the character, but maybe this is our reality", she said.
While Professor Muhamet Mustafa has asserted that the author Spahiu, as in his previous works, tries to oppose evil by promoting good, reports Telegrafi.
"His creation stands out through critical thinking, ie. he has a very penetrating critical thinking, and he has a leading idea, and that is to serve to overcome the smoke of misunderstanding for the achievement of good. The author accepts the existence of evil, and tries, is committed to opposing evil with the power of critical thinking that promotes good and positive energy", said Mustafa.
The author of the novel "A movie scene", Roland Spahiu, after offering explanations about his work, appealed to individuals in society to preserve humanity and not leave the book.
"My order to everyone is not to rush so much, because by rushing you are losing your life. By rushing they are actually slowing down and missing out on human things. Don't rush, stay as close as possible to the earth, the environment, the individual, the thought, the honest friend, i.e. the book, so that we can talk and our life will be more interesting, with more colors", he said.
As part of the Book Fair in Prizren, according to the organizers, for five consecutive nights there will be promotions and discussions with writers and researchers from Kosovo and the countries of the region. /Telegraph/
