The Special Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kosovo has announced that regarding the case that happened a few days ago in the village of Varagë in the Municipality of Zubin Potok, respectively in the part of the "Ibër Lepenci" canal, that on 30.11.2024, the Kosovo Police, in in coordination with the Special Prosecutor, the Special Prosecutor's Office has carried out several checks in different locations, where various weapons and other equipment have been found and seized.

According to a media release, it is known that in this case, 10 people suspected of criminal offenses were brought to the police station: "Endangering the constitutional order by destroying or damaging public installations and equipment", from article 122 related to the criminal offense "Committing of the terrorist act", "Controlled ownership or unauthorized possession of weapons".

"By the decision of the prosecutor, two of them, with the initials DV and DM from the Serbian community, have been detained, where a request has been submitted for the person DV to be detained and the detention measure has been set by the Court for 1 month, while the suspect DM from The prosecution was released in a regular procedure", the announcement states.


Meanwhile, on December 1, 2024, by decision of the Prosecutor, the suspect JV from the Serbian community, who was wanted for this criminal offense, was also detained.

"In the house of the same person, a check was carried out, where a significant number of weapons and other equipment were seized.
