The Assembly rejects the Annual Report of the ACC director, the Workers' Union reacts

The Assembly has rejected the annual report of director Bujar Ejupi of the Civil Aviation Authority of Kosovo (ACC) for the year 2021 with 57 votes against and 4 abstentions.

This is the second annual report in a row that has been rejected by the Assembly for director Bujar Ejupi.

SPAAC thanks the deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo for their commitment and understanding to understand more closely the harmful actions of Director Ejupi which have brought irreparable damage to the civil aviation sector of Kosovo.

According to the Workers' Union, the Annual Report 2021 of the CAA is a report of the director's failures in which he hid all the professional violations and the constant harassment of the staff, which is why he received the meritorious vote from the Assembly.

"As if by coincidence, this happened today, on March 8, 2023, perhaps as a response to Ejup, who has always preferred to show his authority to professional women in this institution by excluding them from work, punishing them for no reason and systematically inflicting psychological violence to them, for which they submitted a petition to the Assembly", says the reaction.

This rejection of Director Ejupi's Report by the Assembly comes after the previous rejection by the Supervisory Board of CAA, the Committee for Budgets and Finances, as well as the hearings of the Committee for Human Rights and Gender Equality.

SPAAC calls on Minister Liburn Aliu and the Government to initiate the procedure for the dismissal of Bujar Ejupi in order to restore stability to the civil aviation sector in the Republic of Kosovo./Telegrafi/
