RMV Government: Dameva's resignation is the only fair decision

"The decision of the head of the Judicial Council, Vesna Dameva, to submit her irrevocable resignation is the only fair decision", say the Government, emphasizing that after a series of remarks about her work, this was the only possible decision.

"After the great remarks about the work of the head of the judicial council Vesna Dameva, the only possible and fair decision is her resignation. We understand that there will be many affected and worried by such a decision because of their dubious work, strong suspicions of crime, as well as falsification of data, but justice must work", says the Government .

Reactions to today's decision by Dameva have also come from several parties from the Albanian bloc. The opposition DUI says that Dameva's resignation, according to them, reflects the alarming situation in the judiciary.

On the other hand, VLEN has replied to DUI that, as they say, Dameva, for whom they are sending notifications, they as a party have dismissed.

Dameva's resignation comes after Prime Minister Mickoski announced strong actions in the judiciary. The Prime Minister severely criticized the situation in the judiciary, stressing that the tolerance of such irregularities encourages corruption.
