The British man started working in the kitchen 30 years ago, today he is a multimillionaire - the coronavirus brought him even greater success

British Steve Ryan, 63, who started working with bees at his kitchen table, after many years of tireless work sold the company for less than 100 million pounds.

It is about the company "Bee Health" based in Bradlington, which was sold to the American company "INW" from Dallas, Telegrafi reports.

Although he has become a multimillionaire, he has not disclosed the exact figure, but it has been reported that he could now buy an island in the Bahamas or a private plane.

Meanwhile, when asked what a man looks like when he becomes a multimillionaire, he answered briefly and modestly: Nothing is different".

However, experts say they did not expect Ryan to sell the company for such an amount.

"The banker asked me what he will buy first, but I told him that I don't need anything, I have everything. I have six racehorses. But I will be on an Asian island from December to February," he added.

Ryan started his business in 1992 - and since then he did not stop for a moment until he officially earned the epithet of a multimillionaire.

"I like the idea of having 100 workers working for free. Bees are phenomenal but also intriguing insects. I got an apartment from the municipality when I was only 25 years old, and that's how I started working. I bought all the necessary tools at the auction. From honey we managed to produce various products that were sold in shops, but we also started working in a shop that sold only honey as a tourist attraction in Scarsborow, and later we bought a factory to produce whatever we wanted. In the beginning it was crazy, during the day we worked with the bees, and at night we packed the honey. When we started with the production of supplements, that's where it all started," said Ryan, adding that he has not made presentations on beekeeping before.

"Bee Health" is one of the 200 growing British companies, and with staggering sales in the world market.

"The pandemic brought us a lot of work, we produced between 160 and 170 million capsules and tablets every week. Over the weekend they distributed 50 million vitamin D tablets, so business boomed like never before. I think people are now taking vitamins more seriously," he added.

The British businessman has emphasized that the factory in Bradlington still employs 360 people, including his 26-year-old son Lewis, who is the director of the company.

In contrast, when Ryan left the company, he gave employees £10 each. This father of five children and grandfather of four grandchildren, says that he will now do volunteer work. /Telegraph/
