The American team arrives in North Korea to discuss the summit

The President of the United States, Donald Trump has announced on Sunday that an American team has arrived in North Korea to prepare for the proposed summit between him and the North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un.
Officials of the US State Department and those of North Korea have met in the village of Panmunjom.
"The United States team has arrived in North Korea to plan the summit between Kim Jong Un and myself," Trump announced in a tweet.
"I believe that North Korea has great potential and will one day become a nation with a large economy. Kim Jong Un agrees with me on this point. This will happen", added the American president.
Meanwhile, the spokeswoman for the White House, Sarah Sanders, has said that "another team" has left Singapore, where the summit was planned to be held.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in said on Sunday that he and the North Korean leader had agreed during a surprise meeting on Saturday to hold a US-North Korea summit.
Moon has acknowledged that Pyongyang and Washington may have different expectations of what exactly denuclearization means, so he has called for the summit to be held and differences to be ironed out.
North Korea has faced economic sanctions due to its missile and nuclear programs since 2006. /Rel/
