A 170-year-old flag is evidence of several wars fought by Albanians for the country's freedom. It clearly shows the marks of bullets and the blood of those who died in the war.
This red and black flag has been fanatically preserved for 75 years by the Lezhian family of Ndue Bajraktar, one of the 12 Bajraktars of Mirdita, who has created a mini-museum with symbols and memories of the patriots who gave their lives for the country's freedom.
The grandparents took the flag from the burning house by the invaders, while they were able to keep it during the years of communist exile.
The 170-year-old flag has attracted the attention of many Albanian patriots inside and outside the country who go to visit it. /Oranews.tv/
