Testing of specialists, Taravari: There is a shortage of medical staff, we have 89 candidates for employment in 13 clinics at the University Clinical Center

The Minister of Health, Arben Taravari, and the Director of the Health Insurance Fund, Sasho Klekovski, wished success and luck to the specialists before the start of their employment testing.

"In the second session of the Government last year, we made a decision to solve the problem with private interns. There were a total of 600 interns, 584 private interns applied for the application. The procedure has started today, the competitions are open in most hospitals. Specifically, we were in the Immunology amphitheater, 89 job candidates, private interns, who will be employed in 13 clinics at the Clinical Center. Testing for Tetovo and Gostivar will continue on Monday and in the following days next week, testing will continue for the first 300 interns, so we are solving a long-standing problem," the minister explained in a statement to the media.

He reiterated that there is a shortage of staff in most hospitals and clinics in the country.

For the first group of 300 people, he expressed hope that with testing and interviews by the end of next week, committees will then confirm which candidates meet the conditions, and then decisions will be made on jobs. The others, less than 300, as the ministry warned, will remain until the end of the year - in November.

"We wish the specialists luck, may they all pass and get hired," said Taravari.

The Director of the Health Insurance Fund, Klekovski, said that work is underway to resolve the employment relationship for contract employees in the healthcare sector.

"The process has been delayed because all legal procedures had to be respected," Klekovski replied to a question from journalists.
