Taravari: VALEN are emotionally charged, Mexhit's accusations are ridiculous

In an interview with Nacionale, the chairman of the Alliance for Albanians, Arben Taravari, emphasized that the Alliance for Albanians has made independent decisions and that no one else has influenced this process, including the decision to leave the government.

"I don't know why the perception has been created that in the decisions of the Alliance for Albanians there is always another party that decides! Maybe because of a conspiratorial policy full of drama and speculation that especially the Balkans are used to. No! The decision to leave the Government was a unanimous decision of the party bodies which are sovereign and independent", said Taravari.

Taravari also commented on the criticism of Izet Mexhiti from the LD, who called the head of the ASH a politician who has betrayed the government.

"I said that they are under great emotional strain and do not know what they are talking about! Mexhit is the first politician in the history of democratic states to accuse someone of betraying the Government! Do you understand how ridiculous and sad this accusation is?! Someone can betray their nation, state or people, but never the Government. This is a communist accusation that seems to have been taken from the files of the former Yugoslavia, where paid people or people who worshipped Tito, use such tragicomic accusations," said Taravari.
