Strengthening economic cooperation between Albanian regions, and creating a stronger network for the exchange of experiences and ideas between businesses, remains the goal of the Albanian Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo for the creation of a sustainable economy.

With the creation of this chamber months ago, its president Hyzer Gashi explains that they have laid the foundations of a "common home" where, as he says, the voices of our businesses come together to share experiences, ideas and cooperation opportunities that go beyond geographical borders, KosovaPress reports.

President Gashi says that this chamber headquartered in Prizren, which will represent Albanian businesses worldwide, will be a platform where the ideas, energy and vision of Albanian businesses will come together to create a stronger and more sustainable economy.

Former Deputy Minister of Finance, Gashi says in an interview with KosovaPress that they aim to inspire younger generations to contribute to the country's economic development, underlining the importance of utilizing the resources and opportunities that Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia and the Albanian territories offer.

"The focus of the establishment of the Albanian Chamber of Commerce was as one of the needs of the time. Its mission and vision has to do with the possibility of integrating and uniting all our national potential at the global level. All Albanians wherever they are at the global level should have a platform, an opportunity for cooperation since it was made possible thanks to communication technologies, we can make contacts and see their economic potential and promote opportunities for this potential to unite for the mission of strengthening and developing an economy, our common power... We present all thoughts, proposals and issue a joint document to see where our potential and power is, where the possibility of union is that in fact union becomes a capital power for investments in the development needs of these states that we have, but also in other countries. Until now we have had close organizations and in fact have not presented a policy at the national level that would enable us to see our real power that we have", says Gashi.

He said the goal is to be a symbol of unity and progress for all Albanians, offering a powerful network for activism and cooperation. In addition, Gashi mentions a nationwide conference expected to be held next summer in Prizren, where they will draft a strategy, which will also be presented to Albanian governments.

"The path that leads us forward to draft such a document, which will be a result of all these minds that I speak of, is planned this year to have a conference at the global level, which will take place in Prizren, where most organizations, representatives of businesses everywhere will be present with their physical presence, but also with their remote (virtual) presence with platforms, and from these proposals, these participants, will each have the opportunity to express their opinion and a summarized document will be drawn up... Let's integrate and create our power, which is called economic power, which builds a strong policy and a policy that creates the future, and I will deliver these produced documents to these governments... So the cooperation with our governments will be at the level that we will have a constructive dialogue for the future of the country and the nation," emphasizes Gashi.

He further said that the concrete cause behind this initiative is in favor of national economic development, for the exploitation of the vast potential that Albanian countries have.

"The concrete cause of this is that we are trying to create communication in favor of our development. Our goal here is not the benefit of individuals, the goal is the national benefit from the values ​​that individuals have created and that their union creates an economic force that builds a clearer and faster policy in development. We will not delay, we have no reason when there are resources around the world... Representation will be the life of a nation with other nations of citizens and our nation has the economic core and the political elite is built on the economic elite. I am talking about people who are healthy businessmen in the sense that they are not involved in illegal activities and have created and are creating every day", he emphasized.

Gashi has also presented this initiative in London with businessmen and compatriots there. He even mentions the idea of ​​increasing railway infrastructure investments between Kosovo and Albania, citing the beauties and opportunities that these countries offer to build a prosperous and sustainable life for Albanians.

"I said this while talking to my friends in London. It was born as an idea when I saw that there were seven floors underground that had been made into railways, solving traffic problems and thus our mountains seemed very short to me, Tirana and Pristina, how much can we reduce the distance for a time, since the actions of the nation would be revived. I took it as a type of architecture that would bring other concepts of integration. When our mountains are connected to tourism, to the power of capital as a public-private project, the pearl of the Balkans," he says.

The Albanian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the representative of "Planete Thenology" for the Balkans, with the aim of creating partnerships and growing Albanian businesses globally, will organize a media conference on March 4 in Pristina. At this conference, investments and their role in the economic development of Kosovo, the possibilities of economic cooperation between the markets of Kosovo and Albania, as well as the penetration of national products into European markets will be discussed. /KP/
