Problems with stadiums, Kurti has a big promise

Football stadiums are the biggest concern for the slow development of football in Kosovo, but it seems that great hope for overcoming this problem already exists.

This is because the acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, promised this at a meeting of the Kosovo Government, KosovaPress reports.

He has promised that with around 200 million euros, 20 stadiums will be built throughout the country and that within a few years, according to him, Kosovo will have the best football infrastructure in the region, including the National Stadium.

Kurti: Our country will have the best football infrastructure in the region

"We will organize the largest sporting event in the country's history, the 2030 Mediterranean Games, for which over 250 million euros in investments in sports infrastructure will be made."

"Especially intensive work will be done on the regulation of football infrastructure with 200 million euros for 20 stadiums across the country. Our country will have the best football infrastructure in the region, including the National Stadium," Kurti said.

The Mediterranean Games in Kosovo will be organized in the summer of 2030 and in addition to stadiums, many sports halls and Olympic swimming pools are expected to be built.
