SPB Ohrid files criminal charges against two people, suspected of usury

SPB Ohrid has filed a criminal complaint against MDD (39) from Ohrid, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he has committed a continuous criminal offense of "incitement", punishable under Article 23 of the Criminal Code, in connection with the criminal offense of "usury", as well as against LD (35) from Ohrid, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing a continuous criminal offense under Article 24 of the Criminal Code "assistance", and in connection with the criminal offense of "usury".

"The reported MDD in the period from 2020 to 2024, intentionally instigated, received and arranged for herself a disproportionate illegal material benefit from BR from Ohrid, during which she extorted 44.976.415 denars from him, which she transferred to her account, but also to the account of ED and LD, both from Ohrid."

"The suspect LD, in the period from 2020 to 2024, intentionally assisted, negotiated, obtained and mediated for himself and MDD illegal material gain from the person BR from Ohrid, during which 26.579.000 denars were extorted from him," the MIA says.
