After the spectacular escape from the Durrës hospital of the detainee Altin Ndoci, the Directorate of Prisons removed a number of well-known names of the criminal world from the premises of the Durrës Prison, sending them to the prisons of Fier and Peqin.
Among the names it reveals Euronews are LB, JM, AA etc.
Their transfer came after the conclusion that Durres prison is not a high-security institution and does not meet the criteria for this category of persons.
We recall that pre-trial detainee Altin Ndoci escaped from the premises of the Durrës hospital on Tuesday, where he had gone for a medical check-up, after hitting the two police officers who were guarding him, while two people were waiting for him outside in a car. Meanwhile, he has not yet been caught and the police continue to search for him.
Altin Ndoci was arrested in May 2020, accused by the police of participating in the murder of brothers Besmir and VH as well as D.Sh and AA in Durrës.
On April 2, 2024, the Special Court dismissed all charges against Altin Ndoc, including suspicions of the murder of Dorian Shkoza and AA, declaring him innocent.
The evidence of the arrested Klevis Alla implicated Altin Ndoci in these four murders, but the Special Court was not convinced by this evidence, which led to Altin Ndoci being declared innocent. On the other hand, for the murder of the two Haxhiaj brothers, the Special Court sentenced Klevis Alla to 25 years in prison.
Although Altin Ndoci won his innocence in 2024, he was unable to leave prison, as SPAK has filed other charges against him, based on the testimony of the repentant justice, ND, who mentions him as being involved in several criminal events. /Euronews.al/
