The Durrës Court this Saturday made a decision regarding security measures against 8 people arrested in connection with the escape of convicted person, Altin Ndoci. The court placed Dezdemon Pazaja, Sali Ferrollari and Fatjon Baçi under the measure of "prison arrest".

Aulon Çuku and Violeta Uka were placed under house arrest. Aran Çela, Preng Marvataj and Dorjan Saraci were ordered to appear in court, euronews.al reports.

Among them are 6 Prison Police officers, the commanding chief of the prison police, and the head nurse of the Durrës Penitentiary Institution.

A day ago, the court's decision to impose "prison arrest" on the former director of the Durrës Penitentiary Institution, Indrit Cërloj, and "house arrest" on the prison doctor, Ylfete Sema, was executed.

Detainee Altin Ndocit escaped from the premises of the Durrës Infectious Diseases Hospital on Tuesday, January 13. Ndocit, accompanied by two prison police officers, arrived at the hospital to conduct checks and examinations on the detainee.

While conducting the tests, Ndoci took advantage of the moment and attacked the officers waiting outside the laboratory door. It is learned that he was also shot with a gun during his escape.

After escaping, Ndoci went to a parking lot where a white Audi A7 with license plates AA700RS was waiting for him, which drove him away from the scene.

Ndoci is considered a person of high social risk. He is accused by SPAK of murder, criminal group, etc. Ndoci is on trial as part of the "Golden Bullet" case for the Bradashesh massacre, where Endrit Alibej's brother, his uncle, Arben Dylgjeri, and a Turkish citizen were killed.

He was arrested in 2020 accused of the murder of brothers Besmir and Viktor Haxhia in Durrës as well as the murder of Dorjan Shkoza and Anxhelo Avdija, also in Durrës.
