Six countries may boycott the opening ceremony of the World Cup

Six countries are planning to boycott the opening ceremony of the World Cup held in Moscow, Russia.

There is still nothing official, but the invitations have already gone out and the state can make this official, writes The Sun.

Countries like Poland, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Australia and Japan are inclined to boycott the solemn opening.

This is after Theresa May announced that Prince William and some of the government ministers will not participate in this event.

This is because in Salisbury, a former Russian spy was poisoned together with his daughter by the Russians.

The first was the Polish president, Andrzej Duda, who was the first to support May's request.

It was planned that Boris Johnson and Prince William would be present at the grand opening. /Telegraph/
