"A warm and festive reception on the occasion of the Christmas holiday at the Catholic Church in Mitrovica, where we were welcomed by Don Bardhec Zymi.

Don Ben, who welcomed us to the Church today, besides being a diligent and exemplary pastor, is also a national activist. It conveys the best example that even the Christmas holiday carries, of kindness, peace and love between each other.

From there, we happily visited Mikel Dishpali's family in Mitrovica North, together with activists and candidates for MPs, a jeweler now retired, who with his wife Lajde Kurti Dishpali, a highly respected and retired teacher.

I highly appreciate their hospitality today and their continued resistance that despite the challenges, threats and pressures they have continuously faced, they have not let go of their property in our north.

I had no way to return to Pristina without visiting the corner of the lodges and some businesses in the north which are working to offer a warm and festive atmosphere to all citizens without distinction.

Happy and prosperous holidays", Sveçla wrote. /Telegraph/
