Seven deputies of the LVV and two ministers are not included in the list for the February 9 elections

Seven deputies of the Vetëvendosje Movement have not been included in any election list for the February 9 parliamentary elections, prompting speculation and discussion on the reasons behind this decision.

But according to their own declarations, some of these MPs have publicly stated that the decision not to compete has personal motives and is not related to hatred or dissatisfaction with the party and its structures.

They have emphasized that they will continue to support the principles and goals of the Vetëvendosje Movement even though they will not be directly engaged politically.

On the other hand, some of the departed MPs have expressed their intention to leave politics, considering their contribution to the parliamentary scene to be over.

Source Meta - has criticized the two co-chairs of the "Guxo" party, Donika Gërvalla and Faton Peci, accusing them of turning the party into a "satellite" of the Vetëvendosje Movement, losing its independent identity.

Meta has emphasized in TV Dukagjini that the split happened because of the personal interests of the two leaders, who, according to him, ignored the interests of the party and followed other agendas.

Jahja Kokaj - has stated that he has decided not to run for deputy again due to incorrect events, such as similar insults.

Tinka Kurti - has declared that he has decided not to run again in the next elections.

"This does not shake my faith and commitment. Maybe on the contrary, it was easier to get involved in the campaign, but not for myself", wrote Kurti.

Arta Bajralia - has clarified that it is a personal decision not to run again in these elections.

"I want to emphasize that this decision was made after a long reflection and does not change my commitment to LVV or to its transformative vision," Bajralia wrote.

Deputies have also remained outside the election lists Gazmend Gjyshinca, Ekrem Mustafa and Yllza Hoti of which there has not yet been any public reaction until the publication of this article.

There will not even be a deputy in the Assembly of Kosovo Fatmir Humolli, who had previously left the LVV to continue as an independent deputy in the Assembly of Kosovo.

Even two government ministers from the Vetevendosje Movement have not been included in the election lists.
