Security, the biggest challenge for the Directorate for Social Welfare in Peja
The Directorate of Social Welfare in Peja sees security as the most sensitive part that this institution faces.
The numerous problems of the citizens occasionally bring problems to this institution which is dedicated to them.
For the director of this institution, Albulena Mujaj Bajraktaraj, security remains among the biggest challenges. Ao for Telegrafin emphasized the difficulties of managing this situation, taking into account, according to her, the incidents that happened before in the centers for social welfare.
"The only challenge that I had highlighted is the issue of security in the facilities of the Center for social work, knowing that this facility is frequented by people who have problems, troubles, people who are either victims of war or in some form also people who perpetrate violence, at the moment when security is not up to par, then the danger for social workers increases", said Mujaj Bajraktaraj.
According to her, the event that happened earlier in Ferizaj at the Center for Social Welfare has influenced Peja to have an entrance insurance, but she adds that this is insufficient.
"We are witness to the last event that happened in the Social Center in Ferizaj and the murder happened, so within it we have an entrance security, but in my opinion it is insufficient because the level of danger is quite high ", she concluded.
