The Ministry of Health announces that the distribution of seasonal flu vaccines is in progress in public health institutions. During this week, citizens who have registered for free vaccination will be notified by SMS of their vaccination appointment.
Vaccination against seasonal flu will be carried out at 35 vaccination points throughout the country, 5 of which in Skopje.
"We remind you that registration for free seasonal flu vaccination is still ongoing for vulnerable population groups, who can apply by filling out the vakcinacija.mk application at this link: https://vakcinacija.mk/mk/registration-flu or through their primary care physician. Free vaccination includes the following categories of the population: People over 65 years of age, people with chronic diseases, healthcare workers, pregnant women, children from 6 months to 5 years of age, as well as people living in social care institutions for the elderly and employees of these institutions.
"Vaccination remains the most effective preventive measure for health protection. This year, the Ministry has provided 80.000 doses of quadrivalent vaccine, produced by the renowned company Abbott from the Netherlands," say the Ministry of Health.
