Samsung will stop production of the Galaxy Note at the end of the year

Instead, Samsung is relying on other models and won't give up the design elements and features of the Note series.

The end of the Galaxy Note series seems sealed. Samsung will discontinue all Galaxy Note models at the end of the year, according to Androidpolice.

This year, the Korean smartphone giant reportedly did not launch a Galaxy Note 21 due to a lack of a chip. Declining sales figures may also be an additional factor. According to ET News, Samsung shipped 12.7 million Note devices in 2019, compared to 3 million fewer the following year. As already suspected, it looks like there won't be a new Note device, as the manufacturer hasn't added one to its annual 2022 smartphone lineup.

S22 Ultra instead of Note

The Note experience should essentially carry over to the Galaxy S22 Ultra. As the photos leaked by Digit.in and @OnLeaks show, it is supposed to have a box-like design and have a place for the S Pen. Note series exclusive software features should also be available. It is scheduled to be released in early February.

According to reports, Samsung is also halting production of the Galaxy Note range to increase production of its foldable devices. /Telegraph/
