Lezha police organized the operation codenamed "Cave" and arrested 33-year-old VK, wanted for robbery with violence and sexual harassment.
According to a State Police announcement, the suspect was found hiding in a cave in the Lezha Castle area, where he was staying in the hope of escaping arrest.
During the search, police seized a wallet and two suspected stolen mobile phones as material evidence.
"This citizen was declared wanted after on March 7, 2025, a 30-year-old female resident of Lezha reported that this citizen had forcibly stolen her handbag, containing personal belongings, and had attempted to have sexual intercourse with her," the police statement said.
The materials were passed to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further legal action. /Telegraph/
