Taika who has two daughters, Matewa Kiritapu and Te Hinekahu - from his previous marriage to Chelsea Winstanley - are still based in New Zealand, so the location works for them.

"Although Taika and Rita spend a lot of time in the UK, New Zealand is still a big part of his identity and their life together," a source said.

"So having a place they can call home is really important to him and his family. They've already started decorating and buying furniture to fit the space. They can't wait to spend some time there," the same source continued.

The news comes after Rita Ora was spotted celebrating Leonardo DiCaprio's 49th birthday in Beverley Hills on Saturday (November 11).
