Rice with milk, pears, pistachios and honey

Excellent recipe in nutritional value and without many calories

Ingredients:

- 1 cup of rice;
- 5 cups of high-fat milk;
– a vanilla stick;
– ½ cup of sugar;
- 1/3 spoon of lemon peel;
- 1 pear,
- half a cup of chopped pistachios without salt, scrambled;
– honey (for serving).


Preparation:

Put the boiled rice in the container with milk; Add the ground vanilla seeds (from the inside of the stem) to the milk.

When the milk boils, reduce the heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until the rice is tender and thickened (about 30 minutes).

Add sugar and lemon peel and cook for another 5 minutes while mixing.

Serve warm or cold rice with chopped pear, scrambled pistachios and a drizzle of honey on top.
