Renault Trezor takes top prize for design (you'll understand why, from photos and video)

The Renault Trezor has been named the best design concept car for last year by Car Design News, beating out competitors such as Jaguar and Mercedes.

Renault first unveiled the Trezor, the two-door electric sports car, in September last year during the Paris Motor Show.

The car has been voted the best design concept by a jury of 20 including design experts from many different manufacturers.

In second place after Trezor is Jaguar I-PACE, while third place is reserved for Mercedes Maybach 6.
The Renault Trezor, which is considered to be the embodiment of the style and technology of the future of French cars, is powered by a 345bhp electric motor, which enables the car to go from 0 to 60mph in less than 4 seconds.

Renault's vice president for design, Laurens van den Acker, said: "It is an honor for us to accept this award, as the voting is done by our peers, and these are the most difficult audience to win approval from. .”

Meanwhile, Zgjim Mita, executive director at AutoMita, the company that represents the Renault brand for Kosovo, said that "on behalf of the customers but also the company, we are very happy to represent the European leader of design, innovation and quality. "Renault Trezor is not a mass-produced model, but it still shows the company's ambition to be a leader in innovation, which it then brings to the standard car models that we offer on the market."
