Record contract, Saka will become the highest paid in Arsenal history

After lengthy negotiations, Arsenal are very close to finalising a significant contract extension. London talent Bukayo Saka has agreed a long-term commitment to the Gunners, a deal that is expected to bring him a significant salary increase.
Saka is one of Arsenal's most prominent academy products and has been an undisputed starter under manager Mikel Arteta for years. Although his attacking statistics this season, nine goals in 19 Premier League games, are a little more modest than in previous seasons, the English winger remains essential to the London club's attacking play.
Saka's current contract runs until 2027, and talks over a renewal have been ongoing for months. Now a crucial step has been taken: according to The Athletic, the attacking midfielder has accepted the latest offer and is expected to sign a new five-year contract.
Final details are still being discussed, but the new salary is expected to increase significantly. Some English media outlets report that this deal could make Sakho the highest-paid player in Arsenal's history.

"The new contract reflects his status as one of the leading players in the Premier League and European football, while he is also expected to have a key role with the England National Team at the 2026 World Cup," it is stated in the reports of specialized media.
According to previous information, Saka was expected to enter Kai Havertz's salary range, with around 15 million euros per year.
However, according to TeamTalk, he will significantly surpass the Germany international and become the first Arsenal player to earn over €18m per season. This means that by the end of the 2030/31 season, Saka could be earning close to €100m.
Bukayo Saka has been a part of Arsenal since 2008 and is now considered one of the most iconic and beloved figures among the fans. The 24-year-old has made 290 appearances for the Gunners, contributing 77 goals and 77 assists. /Telegraph/
