The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police, is conducting a large-scale police operation in the municipalities of Zubin Potok and Zveçan.
According to the official announcement, investigators from the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Serious Crimes are implementing a Court order, at the request of the Special Prosecution Office, to conduct raids in nine (9) different locations.
The operation was undertaken on suspicion of involvement in several serious criminal offenses, including: Endangering United Nations personnel or personnel in contact with them, Aggravated Murder, and Assault on an official person in the performance of official duty.
Other relevant Kosovo Police units are also participating in this operation, while the authorities are implementing all procedures in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code.
The Special Prosecution Office has announced that more detailed information will be made public after the operation is completed. /Telegraph/
