ECAP overturns CEC decision, certifies Serbian List for December 28 elections

The Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) has today overturned the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) to not certify the Serbian List for participation in the December 28 elections.
The ECAP decision states that the recommendation of the CEC's Office for Certification and Financial Control is accepted and, as a result, the Serbian List is certified to participate in the upcoming elections.
"The appeal of the political entity Serbian List, headquartered in North Mitrovica, filed against the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC), with protocol no. 01/3562/2025, dated 02.12.2025, is APPROVED, the decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC), with protocol no. 01/3562/2025, dated 02.12.2025 is AMENDED, so that the recommendation of the Office for Certification and Financial Control at the CEC, dated 02.12.2025, is ACCEPTED, the political entity Serbian List, headquartered in North Mitrovica, is CERTIFIED for participation in the Early Elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, which will be held on 28 December 2025," the decision states.
