The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina has authorized the Kosovo Police to launch investigations into the postal voting process in the February 9 elections for the Kosovo Assembly.

This was stated by the Prosecution's media office in a response to the Telegraph, which, among other things, states that at this stage of the procedure, detailed details cannot be provided.

"The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina has authorized the Kosovo Police to collect and verify information, but at this stage of the procedure, more detailed details cannot be provided because it would undermine the investigative process," the Prosecution's response states.

Otherwise, the Vetëvendosje Movement has leveled accusations against the Democratic League of Kosovo for manipulating postal votes.

Currently, the same people have appealed to the Supreme Court, requesting the cancellation of the LDK's postal votes and a re-voting by mail.

These accusations have been consistently denied by the Democratic League of Kosovo.

In the February 9 elections, the Kosovar diaspora voted at diplomatic missions and through postal voting.

In diplomatic representation, LVV received over 80 percent and LDK was third with 7.3 percent of the votes.

Meanwhile, in the postal vote, LVV received 51.89 percent and LDK 30.21. /Telegraph/
