Powerful explosions at the factory of pyrotechnic devices in India, 11 people lost their lives and 150 others were injured

At least 11 people have lost their lives and 150 others have been injured today, from the powerful explosions that occurred inside a factory of pyrotechnic devices in India.

Images published by Indian television show the tower engulfed in fire as well as the explosions that were happening continuously, where dozens of ambulances and army helicopters were sent to evacuate the injured, reports the Telegraph.

Pawan Kumar Sharma, a senior Indian official, said at least 11 people had died in the massive fire, while rescue teams were doing their best to pull out people trapped under the rubble.


It is estimated that around 150 people were injured, while the views from the area around the factory show black smoke rising into the sky.

The cause that led to the powerful explosion is still unknown, while the doctors who admitted the injured said that their injuries were caused by the explosion of various pyrotechnic devices. /Telegraph/
