The letter T represents the only form of dynamic driving in the Porsche company since the beginning of the 60s.
It is about the abbreviation "Touring", while the cars with this letter offer a special driving experience thanks to the precise tools in the engines, Telegrafi reports.
Staying true to the spirit of the 911 T model from 1968, the Macan T has a dynamic "set-up" and a 2-liter engine, so it is positioned between the Macan and Macan S models.
Unlike the 2,9-liter biturbo V6 engine in the Macan S and GTS, when it comes to the Macan T – it is almost 58 kilograms lighter. This enables exceptional performance at the start.
This car produces 265 horsepower, where the engine is equipped with a seven-speed gearbox and four-wheel traction system, otherwise known as Porsche Traction Management.
Considering that it is equipped with the standard Sport Chrono package, the Macan T manages to accelerate from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 6,2 seconds and the top speed is limited to 232.
Macan T will be sold at a starting price of 69.462 euros. The new model is now available to order, and the first vehicles will be delivered to new owners in Germany during April. /Telegraph/
