Pension increases are being implemented, Kurti: We are redistributing the state budget increase to those who need it

The basic pension increases in Kosovo, from 120 to 150 euros, were implemented today.
The country's Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has also said that starting this month, the minimum pension of 120 euros will become 150 euros per month.
"And today, with the foreseen increase, basic pensions and pensions for people with disabilities have been executed. We are redistributing economic and state budget growth to those who need it most," Kurti said.
Meanwhile, the acting Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, through a post on the social network Facebook, said today that "no government has increased pensions like the Kurti Government."
"The Basic Pension, which we found to be worth 90 euros/month at the beginning of the mandate, is being processed as of today with an increase of 150 euros/month. So a 60 euro increase within the mandate, or 67%. Similarly, the Pensions for Persons with Disabilities, which we found to be worth 75 euros/month and as of today they become 150 euros/month, or a 100% increase within the mandate," he said.
Further, he wrote that "We have also increased support for families with disabled children, as well as disability and family pensions. The government for pensioners."
Otherwise, the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, said at a Government meeting that pensions and child allowances will increase from November.
Kurti, in front of the government cabinet, called this good news for citizens. /Telegraph/
