Pension Savings Fund: 247.2 million euros gross return for 2024

The Kosovo Pension Savings Fund announces that it ended 2024 with 243.7 million euros in gross investment returns.

FKP onwards notifies that by adding the returned surplus and other income (of 3.5 million euros), the gross return for 2024 amounts to 247.2 million euros.

"In nominal terms, this is a record return on investment, but it also came about due to higher assets under management. This was the 20th year, out of a total of 23 years of operation, that the institution achieved a positive annual return on investment. Calculated as a whole, the gross accumulated return, from its establishment until the end of 2024, reached 997.2 million euros, very close to the symbolic figure of 1 billion euros," the announcement states.

The Savings Fund announces that the collection of new contributions in 2024, amounting to 315.8 million euros, reflects a solid increase, both in nominal value (+29.6 million euros) and in percentage, of 10.3%, from the previous year.

"New contributions, together with the return on investments, unlike savings withdrawals and management fees, have contributed positively to net assets under management rising this year by a record figure of +480.0 million euros, thus reaching close to 3.2 billion euros."

The press release states that as of March 31, 2024, FKPKmil has three investment portfolios:

Standard Portfolio – for contributors up to the age of 57; Intermediate Portfolio – for contributors aged 58 to 62 and Conservative Portfolio – for contributors aged 63 and over.

These portfolios are composed of different financial instruments, depending on the investment return objective, investment risk and volatility, and always against the distance of the contributors from retirement age. /Telegrafi/
