Barcelona midfielder Pedri etched his name in the club's history books during a 2-0 La Liga win against Espanyol in matchday 36 on May 15, 2025.
Starting the match, he played his 200th match for the Blaugrana, becoming the youngest player to reach this milestone at the age of 22 years and 171 days.
According to Spanish journalist Pedro Martin, Pedro's record surpassed that of Lionel Messi, who reached 200 games at the age of 22 years and 273 days.

Pedri, who joined from Las Palmas in September 2019, has six goals and eight assists in 56 games this season.
