After 50 years on a farm, rare Bentley sells for £66 - due for restoration

A rare 1935 Bentley has been sold at auction after it was found in a shed near a farm in Dorset, where it sat for more than 50 years.

The farmer had bought the car in 1954, after the 60's it did not pass the technical checks and was parked in an object near the farm, Telegrafi reports.

Since then, it has not moved at all, but time has taken its toll and can be seen through the photos posted below.

However, the Bentley was saved after being auctioned at the Haynes International Museum for £66.352.

We are talking about the Thrupp & Maberly DHC model, powered by a 3.5-liter V5 engine, which rolled off the production line in 1935.

Now it seems that the time has come for it to return to its previous state, but a deep restoration of this car is needed.

The car was originally bought by a Scotsman, during the 30's it was transported to Australia, while in 1949 it was returned to Great Britain.

The body is painted black, but the original color was yellow. /Telegraph/
